Elaborating on my goals for 2030

Hey guys,

yes you read that correctly. My goals for the end of this brand spanking new decade are up for discussion here.

I talk about them in this Friday Night Fun episode:

I wish I did this years ago. I keep wondering what I would have wanted to have achieved by now, but I know that it would be more than I have achieved. I disappoint myself, but the best thing to do is press on and keep working away at what you want to do.

Anyway, I said in my FNF episode that I wanted to have made some sort of organisation for my video games business, had a kid, and still be doing my hobby stuff. Well here I'm going to elaborate on the hobby stuff.

Friday Night Fun records

Hey guys,

I think it will be fun if I write down the big records that I've set myself in my show Friday Night Fun.

First of all is the most consecutive episodes, which is 8 set in 2018 on what is now Supercars Mabeanie.
5th, 12th, 19th, 26th of January, 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 23rd of February, 2018.

Then there's the longest Friday Night Fun episode which is 22nd of December 2017's TF2 with friends. It's 2 hours long!

I would put the shortest as a record, but usually it happens because of time constraints or because I had trouble getting it set up and was exhausted by the end.

Another could be the most consecutive episodes in which I play the same game. It was three consecutive episodes in which I played Assetto Corsa's V8s Corsa mod. This took place in the middle of 2018 with two episodes on Mabeanie Games to test the waters and then one on Supercars Mabeanie.

I can't think of any other kinds of records that would be interesting enough to write about, so I'll leave it as it is. Thanks for reading. Check out the episodes if you want.

See Ya!

Cherry-picking my 2019

Hey guys,

2019 was a weird year for my Supercars Mabeanie channel.

The numbers don't look good overall, and from my simplified graph you can see that it's looking worse than in the last few years. Keep in mind that I only posted Supercars videos throughout most of 2019, which is 5 videos.

Per video, the views were really good with 350+ on the Scott McLaughlin video and 730+ on the Resurrect a Race Team video.

I gained 10 subscribers, and am now sitting at 100. I haven't seen that big a gain since 2014.

I got 30 likes, which is very good considering the number of videos and that most of the likes went to those videos.

I got 5 comments, but they were meaningful and good conversations so I'm happy with the engagement.

In terms of audience, my channel has changed from 18-30 year olds and gaming videos to a 30-40 year old Supercars audience. So it's looking good for 2020. I just have to get more videos done to make the most of it. No pressure though. I like to make good videos and so they'll come when they do.

Overall, it was a mixed year but per video it was really good. No regrets moving to a Supercars-only design for 2019 and beyond. I just wish that I had got all of my old content done before the year began, with that last-minute Minecraft Seedscribers video popping up on New Year's Day. Anyway, things are looking good for 2020.

On my other channels, I'm playing more Sims 3 so I could have my generational series done at some stage this year. It will go up on Mabeanie Games.

On Mabeanie Talks, today marked the first episode of a new batch of Mabeanie and Ihasnotomato videos. Of course, I still want to do conversations with other YouTubers.

Anyway, that's my update.

See Ya!
