Why Google Plus YouTube integration isn't so bad.

Hi,
I've been using YouTube since 2010 and when Google chose to force YouTube users to use Google Plus I had to use it as well. While it is now hard to tell the difference between YouTube Partners and regular YouTubers (like myself), it is now much easier to interact with your audience.

Despite the comment section being messed up with having to only see the most popular comments, I've found that the voted comments can continue to get votes as they are the only ones seen. I've posted comments on videos that have earned thumbs-ups/+1's which enable the most recent viewer to see my comment. This, metaphorically, is like watering the dirt to bring up the bugs (in this case, the good/popular comments). Now, the people who say meaningful things are able to be noticed. Simply saying 'lol' doesn't earn votes any more.

So rather than remove Barry from the script of episode one entirely I intend to find a new voice actor. As of now, that is the only problem with making Our House.

The 500MB Upload Schedule

Hey guys,
So as the title says I have a schedule. This schedule states that I can upload 500mb of video onto my various channels (including aim industries). The reason I am telling you this is because I was going to upload the first episode of Prison Architect: Day 200 when I remembered this schedule. This is so I have tons of stuff which will be uploaded in December and will give me time to make episodes and check them over a few times before I upload them.
Another reason I am telling you this is because very early this month I uploaded these videos:

 

 




... and now cannot upload any more November videos.
This is my choice and it makes me put more effort in the videos to make you guys have a much more entertaining, fulfilling and overall short experience.

New Series On MrMabeanie

Hey guys,
so as the title says I am doing a new series on my main channel called Prison Architect: Day 200.

(The logo used in my series, not the official logo of PA)

It is centred around the events, people and activity involved with my prison from the Prison Architect series I did with Angrove.
Here's a few pointers:

• story-based, tells the story of the leading days up to day 200 (I'm at day 108 or something)
• Not a Let's Play, more like a documentary about the prison.
• Beaniebear talking when needed. Will give my personal thoughts about things (Just comment on a related video)
• Viewer comments from previous episodes/related videos featured in the next episode.

I will not stop this series as it will end on Day 200. Hope to see some good views on the episodes and related videos!

More YouTube Channels

Hey guys,
If you follow me on YouTube then you may or may not notice that I have a new channel: Mabeanie2

So here's the gist:

The Mabeanie Channel (MrMabeanie) - My main channel with the beaniebear being quite a feature. It also includes many gaming videos edited to the point where it is not a Let's Play, but a machinima in a few ways.

The Other Mabeanie Channel (TheMabeanie) - My Let's Play channel which has become difficult to attend to. It features my various Minecraft series and my Let's Play of Assassin's Creed.

Mabeanie2 (NEW!) - I basically throw all of the raw recordings with basic editing (cut out names that are mentioned or anything private) so that people can see and hear what was going on at certain points. The best example of this would be the recordings from my TF2 montages on my main channel.

So there are two videos up at the moment and after the first few days we've earned 2 subscribers!

How YouTubers Should Make Videos

Hey guys,
So last Saturday I uploaded a video called Payday: The Heist with Bearcam. It required a lot of effort to record as my body was under pressure with playing a game while hiding behind a bear. I could actually hear my heartbeat through my ears!

Quite recently ChimneySwift11 has kicked off Season 6 (opens in new window) of his The Minecraft Files series. I've tried again and again to watch it, but I just can't. It's too long and I'm not interested in watching someone play Minecraft for half an hour. So that has inspired me to make a video about why YouTubers like Tobuscus (Toby Turner) are successful with short videos. It makes me so angry that I can't watch ChimneySwift's videos anymore. I really like him as a YouTuber and he's come so far with over 1 million subscribers. I just wish I could see why he deserves it in recent videos. No cuts are done in a single episode of The Minecraft Files and I want to do an edit on an episode just to show how great it would be if they were done. More famous YouTubers like Tobuscus, everyone from Normalboots.com and Ray WilliamJohnson edit their videos so only the best content is featured in each video.

Others who watch ChimneySwift will oppose me in my thoughts saying they enjoy Season 6 of The Minecraft Files, but others will be with me. I can safely say that it isn't just ChimneySwift who's gone and uploaded him talking and playing a game. There are so many people out there who do just that, I can't even name them. I don't even want to attempt to. I'm gonna assume you've seen YTers out there who do that.

EMO TIME!!!! But it won't matter because nobody watches my videos on YouTube despite how good I think they are. Because they ARE good, but my subscribers (who?) are just a number that appears at the top of my channel. It doesn't mean anything to a vast majority of them if I upload or not. This is because a lot of them are accounts that have been deleted and YT need to pull themselves together to solve this annoying issue I  wonder about.

Film Based On 'The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde' Book

Soon I will be writing my script for a Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde film. I don't know what the length of the film will be, it just ends up being what it ends up being. Something out of my control. All I know is that it shouldn't go for 30 minutes.
The reason I'm doing a post about this is because I want to know if anyone's read the book and thinks that something should be the focus of the film.

• Is there an important point of view that should be focussed on?
• Is there a part of the book that shouldn't be ruined? (what I'm trying to say is, is there a part of the book that must be included, not entirely word-for-word or sequence-by-sequence, and not ignored?
• Is there a part of you that wants a certain part of the book be in my film?

If there's something bugging you that I haven't mentioned, then please respond or whatever. This blog is like Aperture Science Innovators. Nobody knows about it until someone is thrown down a tunnel and lands in it.

5 Months Later...

Hey guys,
I know it's been a while and I've been too busy to make new blog posts. Too busy, or Can't Be Bothered it's hard to tell the difference between the two.
Anyway, I've been getting back into YouTube, even though I'm still working in the school holidays. The school holidays are almost over and I'll have to get back to constantly working on a regular basis. So now I've uploaded a couple of videos, with lots of effort to make each one as interesting and entertaining as possible. Here's a list of the ones I've done:

What's Really Been Happening With Me

Hey guys,
What's really been happening with me is that I've been filming a short film called TheMabeanie's Revenge. I finished today, so here I am telling you.

It's about TheMabeanie being jealous of me paying attention to my main channel and trying to think up content to upload onto that channel, rather than uploading episodes of LP Assassin's Creed. He knocks me out when I eventually decide to record, and then transforms both my blog and main channel to advertise TheMabeanie and all he stands for (mainly not guards beating up women in AC1). I come to and decide to delete the channel. He then appears in the doorway to my room and tells me to follow him. At a park we fight and he ends up getting hit by a car. (let me get my breath back...)

Ok, so that's the plot and I have done the first parts in editing and have them ready to put them together as a final product. Part 3 is the one I did today, but the editing's not done.
I had the idea to make a Twitter account and tell you from there, but then I thought "I have a blog, why not post on there?"
Yeah.
So that's it for tonight (I'm posting at 10:48pm South Australia GMT +9:30).

Need Help Using Do Loops and While Loops in C++

I have been doing super simple C++ for a while but when I got the idea to actually try and make something with it, I wasn't sure where to start. But it's very basic on what it's got to do, I just don't have the knowledge to fix it and my book that I'm learning from doesn't help me.
Here's the code:

 

 

The problem is in the end of the 'do' loop where I have tried to end it with a 'while' loop. I try to run the program as I have it but no matter what the user input is, everything repeats.

MwM S2 Discontinued

Hi all,
Sorry but I have now decided to give up on MwM for quite a while. This will let me relax and work on series like Assassin's Creed, and maybe I'll introduce another series somewhere along the line. I know I don't have many series running on my channels currently but I'll list them now so we have a good count of them.

You'll notice I've left Seedscribers still on my main channel, and that's because it's such a small series that it isn't as much of a big deal to record, edit and upload (apart from the time it takes to upload of course). I'm getting rid of my major Minecraft series' because I'm beginning to realise it's coming back to haunt me after last year of not playing games at all. I don't want a repeat of that traumatic period with it pretty well having a negative affect on my life.

I'm getting ideas about what to do for new series' as I write this, but they're not solid, so if I come up with something, you'll be the first to hear about it (maybe after ihasnotomato and Akirasora).

New Beta 2 for Minecraft Multiplayer Town Custom Map

Now we're in Beta 2 for my custom map (No name yet :P), so here's some pictures of what I've added to the map :D

Blue Team's enchantment building

I've also added an anvil to the Blue Team's Blacksmith building. Also fixed the graveyard building

so that people can place flowers and signs to remember people who've died on the map (Permanent-death mods?)

Ubuntu Time Out Problem

I once had a time out problem on my Ubuntu computer when i was setting it up.
During the installation there was a step about choosing your time zone, and once i'd done that (any choice), it would show up with this error.
It took me a very long time to work it out, and the hopeless, but somehow correct answer to the problem was to install a Graphics card.

So that's it, this should help anyone out there with the same problem i had. I just happened to be fortunate enough to be in a computer repair/network administrator office for work experience.
But yeah, if that should help, let me know 'cos then it would give me good karma =D.
