Hello Again.

Hey guys,

I know it's been a long time since I've last posted

I wish there was a way I could keep updating this, but since I've been at AIM and updating the AIM blog I haven't thought of anything to post about on this blog.

So here's what I've been up to:

  • I've been watching a lot of Civilization V videos by the Yogscast and Quill18. Quill because he's good at the game and the Yogscast because they turn on each other like sliced potatoes in a deep fryer.
  • AIM has been difficult to manage. We haven't recorded in ages and have run out of things to upload. So we're gonna play some multiplayer games this weekend to compensate, I just need to update TF2.
  • Also I have been coming up with different ways to bring back my channels.

Bringing back the Mabeanie channels.

So the most recent idea I had for bringing back my channels is where I would turn it into a show where I have artwork I've made, comics I've made, and channel reviews on other peoples' work.
I also love the idea of connecting with your viewers. Google Plus groups are something I've seen to be a good way for the viewers to know how important they are to their subscription. Videos with your own subs is something I've seen as well, mainly Mickell Pickell doing a video with his idol SeaPeeKay. Also KSic is working on a channel dedicated to bringing out the best video-makers in the Sic community (His subscriber name).

Reviewing my interest in certain YouTubers

So the only one I like out of all of those is the videos with subs because it lets the viewers know that they could be in a video with their subscription one day. ChimneySwift, my old favourite YouTuber has fallen in the ranks when it comes to me watching his videos. He keeps saying that he could upload any game, but that he chooses to upload his favourites (Attack of the B-Team and Elder Scrolls Online). Since finding KSic and how he's kind of fallen down the same path and sticking to certain things I can see that if I bring back the Mabeanie channels then I'm gonna need months of preparation and do everything in advance with introduction videos to keep it recent.
So that's it.

See Ya!

How to Get Rid of Hiss and Hums in Audio - Audacity and any other software

How to Get Rid of Hiss and Hums in Audio

Thanks to this video (I only read the transcript) you can get rid of the hums that come from your audio. In audacity (it also works in most other software - They used Adobe Premiere as an example) you click effects, then click high pass filter. Just click ok, don't bother with any other options. It won't completely get rid of the humming noise, but it will make the audio bearable. The guy in the video says to play around with the options if it doesn't completely work for you.

An Extensive, Yet Informative, History of Ihasnobeanie.

Ihasnobeanie is a collab YouTube channel that has been around since the very early days of Ihasnochille. It also plays host to the first Let's Play type video I ever did: Mabeanie Maze.
The channel itself was created on January 22, 2011 when I went over to Ihasnotomato's house for super fun times. It was then that he told me about his new YouTube channel Ihasnochille (Blog Post about it by IHNT)

VIDEOS DUE ON IHASNOBEANIE: AC Filler and MwM episode 17.

The history of the channel is filled with neglect and although there have been many times when I wanted to bring the channel back with exclusive content. It really hasn't been a channel about anything, it only features myself and ihasnotomato as guests to each other's videos. Akirasora is a close friends which is why he is in our videos as an extra guest commentator. Amnesia: The Dark Descent on Ihasnochille features him throughout the entire series. You're welcome. Thanks for reading this extensive blog post and I'll post more stuff later. See Ya! PS: You know why there's no paragraphs; stupid Google with no respect for Blogger!

My Games Opinion.

(Taken from a comment on a video on the same topic by DonaldDuckTheViking)
The thing is that I have already bought a bunch of games over my time as a gamer. I found that I was interested in them at the time. A good example of my purchases is Mass Effect. I didn't buy it, but I wanted it. Someone paid for it. My Mum or Dad probably.

When I first heard of Mass Effect it was through someone who was a big fan of the whole series. I loved the idea that you could choose what to say to people. I loved how the way you ended one game would affect the way the next one played for you. I didn't buy Mass Effect 2. This is because I haven't finished Mass Effect. The reason I haven't finished it yet is because I always find myself interested in another game I have. Nowadays, if I find something I really love and I invest many hours in playing it then that's a good game.

Prison Architect was one I found through Sjin at The Yogscast. He played it for a few episodes and then he lost interest. Because of that I bought the game. I don't play it much anymore but I still find it's worth my money. Games that require one cost and that's it are games I'm happy to buy. I don't think I've ever bought a DLC or expansion without it coming with the game anyway.

So games are made to make money. I know that and have for a very long time. One of the problems I had when I first started considering myself a gamer was money. I couldn't afford games out of my own pocket. This encouraged me to really want a game. Minecraft changed my life, and not for the better. I saw the flaws in it that affected my education. I don't play it anymore. I have no room in my life for it. I now see that there is more to gaming life than just one game. I have lots of games. Playing a lot of one game helps me analyse it. If I play it so much I want the sequel then the devs have done something right. I'm talking about the Dawn of War series. I have all of the first series and the first two of the second series. DoW is discontinued now, I can't play DoW 2 anymore and that makes me sad. But it was stupidly difficult to get it installed. You needed a bunch of accounts and the ability to get onto Microsoft Live. It was difficult then to play and it's even more difficult now.

Gaming life is full of choices. All of them will affect you in some way, big or small. From making YouTube videos I saw myself as I am. I don't look to my past, because I know I've learned from it.
